The White Dog

The first post of this blog. This idea to start a blog has been on my mind for a while now, and when I say a while, it is like a ‘while’!

I had a few topics in mind for this post but I think I’ll go with the white doggie thing. Here’s how it goes.

So it’s a lazy Sunday, like every other Sunday, where I stay in bed till 1-2pm and get up finally so that I can answer the nature’s call which I had been postponing for a few hours. And those few hours weren’t exactly productive as I was busy facebooking (yeah that’s what I’m gonna call it). So I get off the bed and, you know how it is, you start to question why you got off the damn comfy bed in the first place. Then you remember that you are a human being and to continue to be classified among them, you gotta do 1 or 2 things every day WITHOUT FAIL, like brushing your teeth, and eating and stuff like that.

I decided around 4:30pm that I’ll go to Seasons, which is a small eatery on Jail Road or Kaikondrahalli Main Road or Amrutha (eeks!) College Road (Take your pick, I don’t even care anymore). Their specialty is non-veg, more specifically Rolls and Shwarama thingys (do not care about the spelling, yeah!), and they do it reasonably ok and it’s not too expensive, although I do wish they lower the prices slightly. So I get there totally ready for a veg roll with some French fries on the side (yeah…). I give the order, take the bill and when I turn to move toward the seating area (yeah they have one, surprisingly!), I see this dog looking at me from under one of the tables.
I think, yeah let’s start backing up about now, and like even though I like dogs I don’t usually go out of my way to approach one (I actually do!). So then after a while I realize that its actually like one of those dogs that sit next to the food places so people give it something to eat. That dog eventually comes outta there. I get to one of the drier tables (it had just rained), take a seat and start munching on the lunch or snack or whatever you want to call it. I keep noticing the dog at regular intervals because, you know, its my thing to, you know, stare at animals and random moving objects around me. I notice that the dog keeps taking a step toward me, very slowly and lightly. It just looked pretty cute (ha ha). I felt I should give the poor thing something as it looked tired (how would I even know?). but then I remembered how I hadn’t eaten anything the whole day (even though I hadn’t been awake much). I just didn’t want to part with the veg roll, which I had been starting to enjoy over time.

Finally I ate my meal and got outta there. Here's a pic of the dog.

Wow the eyes look crazy now. i hadn't really taken a look at the picture after i took it.

The End, bros….
